Your Real Estate Website - First Consider Your Home Page

Have you looked at many websites the realtor? If you have, you'll notice that most of them identical. Were printed almost as a cookie-cutter, with the only difference being the name of the firm. (Actually, I think there were many of them.)

The only obvious purpose of most websites real estate seems to be to offer an MLS search, or perhaps some type information Chamber of Commerce on the city.

And while that is very heavy on you, do not think it should be the purpose of your personal website real estate.

I think the purpose of your website should bring you leads. Do you agree?

With that in mind, you need to exploit of cookie-cutter mold and build a site that does not look and do not feel all the rest. Instead you need to create a site that shows

    * His knowledge of area
    * Your marketing capabilities
    * Your negotiation skills
    * Your care and concern for customers and
    * Your ability and willingness to offer guidance
    * Your problem-solving skills
    * The his work ethic

That means your landing page needs to offer something more - even if you feel bound to show a search box from home on the first page, needs to be accompanied by something that will take visitors to learn more about you and your services.

Even a paragraph or two that has been in his "about me" page and the pages of the buyer and the seller is better than saying nothing and assuming that your visitors will find any such pages. They could - however they could not.

Why do people search for information that you want them have?

"Make it easy for customers" is one of the mantras of business today - so make it easy for you to do yours is the agent who will direct and help them to realize their goals.
