You see it everywhere, on TV, infomercials, newspapers, magazines, the Internet. "Get in the real estate investing, and make a quick fortune. Expensive cars, homes, boats, planes .... everything can be yours, and so easy. "
Yes! Right!
Let's get real people. What you see often in the media, and what you experience is actually two entirely different things - or is it? Let's look at some key points about this dream-propelling vehicle called real estate investment.
ANYONE CAN DO THIS!
Can anyone with the desire to get into this business and make money? Sure, definitely yes! "We all share basically the same human neurology. So if a person can learn to do and accomplish something, then virtually anyone can. Some may need to gain a deeper understanding of some things about another person, but can be made.
QUICK WAY TO ABUNDANCE.
"Real estate investing is the quick road to wealth and riches as you hear so much about? Well, yes and no, and you'll get a myriad of opinions on how long you can take to make real money in this business. Anywhere from a couple of months, even years. The reality is, that like anything, depends on the drive and desire to be the investor. Educate yourself on the real estate investing, and put that knowledge into action. The higher the level of commission, typically proportionally higher the level of success. I know investors who made a little money from their efforts they began, and I know of many who (like me) did a lot of money pretty quickly in this business. It has been my experience, along with countless others, that one can become financially independent in business in under 2 years, and often within 1 year. There are many veterans who do not share this view, and call it wreckless or careless do it as quickly. But it is not. It is done with careful research and analysis of the characteristics. It is not just my opinion that this is done, but something my experience and that of others.
"" I CAN NOT DO THIS ... OR, YOU CAN NOT DO THIS IN "ME" AREA.
A challenge that befronts the beginner, they are often faced with frustration after another and give up before ever reaching any level of success. The real estate investing, like most other sectors, is a business of numbers. Many beginners hear of other success in this business, and falsely assumes that came easy. The reality is, that there is often quite a bit of time and effort put into the situation, which cast the "right". I am often surprised at the number of newbies who complain that they have submitted a gallant effort and have called at 7 sellers amazing and have determined that this business can not be done. It takes more effort than this to make a go of this business. Call over 100 vendors, then start complaining soon - maybe. You can not tell me that if you do not give contact sellers and check out deals, so you will not find anything .... Never! Now if you're not getting anywhere after, say 50 calls, then you need to seriously reconsider its strategy.
I find it hard to believe that there are any areas out there where you can not make money. I've been to many, and found that there were no deals where people said them. But I think there are investment strategies will not work in every place every time. If what you are doing is not working in your area, then change your approach and strategy.
Becoming a real estate investor can pretty much be what you choose to do it. There are plenty of resources - websites, discussion boards, as well as countless books and programs to get one started and further your education. You can choose to make an investor for times or go full time. Work a few hours in it, or work hours per day 12. There will be paperwork that you will learn, not only to put deals together, but also for record and bookkeeping. You epochs becomes sometimes jack-of-all trades who handle various aspects of this business. You can make investments, business, manager, handyman, accountant, janitor, etc.. But rest assured that often, money is quite good.
Entering a career as a real estate investor can be one of the wisest decisions you will ever make. It is a satisfying and rewarding profession, however like most, it takes a certain level of dedication and effort to succeed. This is not a get rich overnight without any effort the country sits on the couch in her business type. But as you get rolling you will find that the effort you put into it against the increases you get from it is well worth it. Often people I meet ask me what kind of work I do, and does not come with me literally. "" Work? , Oh you mean that thing you do I love doing and get paid for it? "
Yes! That's it!
